MyWhoosh update 5.7 is here, introducing a Streaks feature, more rowing features, and more user control options to improve their virtual training experience.
To start with, users will now get Streaks as they stay active with the application. Streaks can be earned by doing any activity in any of the sports offered on MyWhoosh. Users can earn badges and milestones to celebrate their Streaks.
Streaks can help keep users accountable and build habits while also giving them rewards to celebrate with within the community.

MyWhoosh update 5.7 also adds more features to rowing. The last MyWhoosh update, update 5.6, added rowing as a sport in MyWhoosh. Now, there are structured rowing workouts, which include intensity targets and intervals.
There are also new competitive live rowing events with real-time strokes-per-minute tracking (SPM) and leaderboards.

There were also several user control features added to help users integrate their workouts better. Now, users can sync outdoor Strava activities into their calendar in MyWhoosh. There’s also a new TrainerDay integration to sync completed and scheduled workouts into MyWhoosh.
Plus, a BikeControl app integration adds compatible Bluetooth controllers support for in-app functions like shifting and cornering. There’s also a new Virtaul Shifting Gear Step Size slider.
Matt Smithson, Director of Esports and Game Operations at MyWhoosh, shared comments on update 5.7:
“Version 5.7 is a significant update for MyWhoosh because it improves the platform in multiple areas at once. We are adding stronger engagement features, better integrations, and a more serious offering for rowing users. This release is about improving the quality of the experience across the board with usability changes and improved connectivity that matter to everyday users.”
There were also several firmware updates with MyWhoosh update 5.7 that were asked for by the community, like clearing saved devices and auto-connect settings. Stability improvements and bug fixes were also part of the latest update.
