The MotoGP eSport Championship is returning in 2025 for the ninth year of the competition in the racing simulator MotoGP 25.
Now that the esports series is going into its ninth championship, the organizers are is changing the competition format for 2025. Now, four Online Challenges will determine the top 30 racers (15 from Europe and 15 from everywhere outside of Europe).
MotoGP teams will then choose which esport driver will represent them at the Global Series. This will be a three-round shootout where 11 finalists will compete at the end for the title of 2025 MotoGP eSport Champion.
The first Online Challenge will take place on July 2, though details about the challenge are up in the air. Both the circuit and the rider are up for voting (via the MotoGP eSport social media channels), and these are the current options.

- Chang International Circuit
- Pretamina Mandalike Circuit
- Phillip Island
- Drivers
- Ai Ogura
- Johann Zarco
- Fabio Di Giannantonio
- Jack Miller
The Online Challenges will be Time Attack challenges from July to August.
The Global Series rounds are a bit different. The first two are virtual events, while the last round will be held in person, live at Milan Games Week. This will take place in November.

Racers can learn how to sign up here. Those who post at least one lap in each Online Challenge will have a chance to win tickets to various MotoGP races throughout the 2025 season. These tickets will be decided by a draw.
