The historical warbird will launch in just a few days, on October 10.

Funnily, YouTube took issue with the first iteration of the trailer released to celebrate the announcement and quickly removed it due to an alleged violation of the terms of service.

The video is now back and you can watch it below.

FlyingIron Simulations is known for some rather well-loved World War II aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including a Messerschmitt Bf 109 G6, a Spitfire LF Mk IXC, an F6F-5 Hellcat, and a P-38L Lightning. If their track record is an indication, the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 is likely to be very good as well.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC and Xbox Series X|S.

If you’d like to get into flight simulation but you’re perhaps a bit intimidated by its apparent complexity, you can read our introductory guide, alongside the second episode focusing on installing add-ons, and another showcasing the basic instruments.

You can also read more flight simulation news in the previous roundup article.

Incidentally, you may also be interested in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, which will release on November 19, 2024. You can enjoy our hands-on preview with plenty of interesting details for your perusal.

You can also watch our interview with Head of MSFS Jorg Neumann and Asobo CEO Sebastian Wloch, another with Asobo CCO David Dedeine, and one featuring Chris Burnett of Working Title and Brandon Yaeger of Got Friends about their work on MSFS 2024.

Last, but not least, you can take a look at our A-10 flight through the Grand Canyon, our first look at the extensive pilot customization, another at the first mission of the Career Mode, a video featuring the new walk-around move showing off a Boeing 737 MAX up close and personal, and a challenge with the A-10 over the Blue Ridge Mountains.
