At the moment, very little is known about the game, besides the fact that it’ll be released on June 18, 2025.

The rest is mysterious, but the “Suit up. Squad up. Power up.” motto and the imagery of the teaser trailer appears to suggest that it focuses on superheroes.

You can check out the teaser trailer for yourself.

Expeditions will be the third official Lego game launched within Fortnite, following Lego Fortnite Odyssey and Lego Fortnite Brick Life.

Lego Fortnite Odyssey was originally simply called Lego Fortnite and launched within the first wave of additional games added by Epic Games in its bid to turn the battle royale game into a multi-game metaverse, alongside Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival.

Since then, Epic Games also added Fortnite Ballistic, which is basically an FPS that you could define as Epic Games’ take on the Counter-Strike formula.

This expansion has also been embraced by many creators and even organizations, who have been using Fortnite as a canvas to create a variety of experiences.

Among these, Japanese governmental organization and adjacent companies have been very active in using it to promote local attractions, like Funai Castle, Gunkanjima, Shibuya, and Osaka.

Fortnite is available basically on every platform, albeit the iOS version is still limited to some regions, like Europe and the United States, where courts and legislators have been forcing Apple to curb its resistance against third-party stores and payment methods.
