Today, Studio 397 revealed that its hit racing simulator, Le Mans Ultimate, is getting a brand new V1.3 update, which is set to release on March 31, 2026.
Ever since the Le Mans Ultimate V1.0 update launched back in September, the developers have been hard at work implementing changes based on user feedback, including a major quality-of-life update in V1.2. The latest patch is not only completes the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) content cycle but also introduces several significant technical and performance enhancements.
ELMS Content Pack 3 features a brand new vehicle, track, alternative layouts, and expanded grids, all of which you can see broken down below:
- New Vehicle – The Duqueine D09 LMP3 chassis, featuring a Toyota twin-turbo V6 engine.
- New Track – Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, released with its 2025 non-chicane layout.
- Alternative Layouts – New configurations for Silverstone (National, International, and GP via Wing pitlane) and Paul Ricard (layouts 1a, 1av2, 1av2-short, and 3a).
- Expanded Grids – Grid sizes at Imola, Spa, and Portimão have been increased to 44 cars to match ELMS configurations.

On the technology side of things, Le Mans Ultimate V1.3 will introduce Logitech TRUEFORCE, which utilises vibrotactile effects triggered directly from our physics engine alongside traditional kinaesthetic force-feedback to create a more dynamic feeling using their low-latency motors delivered directly to their SDK. Haptic feedback support has also been added for devices like bass shakers.
Speaking of performance improvements, load times have been reduced by approximately 20%, and occlusion culling has been introduced for vehicles to save performance by not rendering cars hidden in pit garages. New “Coherent” UI middleware also replaces the old CEF system to eliminate persistent crashes and improve frontend performance.
Studio 397 also gave an update on the future roadmap for Le Mans Ultimate, stating that Career mode has been moved to later in 2026 to ensure quality, and that the console release is targeting 2027. The test for Team Endurance Races was also largely successful, and the 38-car events are officially out of the test program, so keep an eye out for more updates on that in the near future.
