Today, Frontier Developments revealed another dinosaur that will appear in its upcoming Jurassic Park management simulator, Jurassic World Evolution 3.
This time around, we get a look at a winged, long-billed carnivorous species from the early Cretaceous period, the Tropeognathus. It is considered to be a member of the family Anhangueridae, but several studies have also recovered it within another family called Ornithocheiridae.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 was revealed recently at Summer Game Fest, and it’s coming for PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows Store), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 21, 2025. As the title suggests, it is the third installment of a popular series of management sims inspired by Universal’s Jurassic World series, which debuted with the original Jurassic World Evolution in 2018, followed by the sequel in 2021.
The game is set to feature 80 species of dinosaurs and a new campaign, which will see the return of Jeff Goldblum voicing Dr. Ian Malcolm. So far, they’ve revealed a boatload of these new dinosaurs that will be arriving in the sequel, including the Psittacosaurus, Lokiceratops, Utharaptor, and baby Megaladon.
We also saw videos showing gameplay aspects like a dive into the new breeding mechanics, the ability to host dinosaurs into families, and a look at terraforming. If you’re interested in the Jurassic World franchise, you should definitely take a look at the upcoming Jurassic World Archipelago for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, MSFS 2020, and X-Plane, on top of our interview about it.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 launches October 21, 2025, for PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S for a suggested retail price of $59.99 for the standard edition, and $74.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
