Today, Vampire Survivors developer, poncle, released a 2025 wrap-up that held several 2026 plans in it, including the announcement that update 1.15 will be arriving in 2026.

Vampire Survivors 1.15 will have a lot of major QOL improvements that require a rework of some core systems, meaning that the update is likely coming in Q2 rather than at the start of the year. One of the first things that will be addressed is the long-requested ability to have multiple save slots.

Stability will be getting significant improvements, as the developers want to make sure the game engine performs better on all devices before exploring new content like DLC. Filters and a better organization of character selection will also help with the overall UI management to help players avoid getting lost in the large amount of content.

Lastly, players can expect an usual combination of new stage, character, weapon, and darkana in the next content pack that accompanies 1.15. Unfortunately, not everything will be ready in time for the next patch, as DLC sharing when playing online and cross-save on platforms that needs different policies for us (PS, Apple+) likely won’t be ready.

Platform achievements definitely won’t be available until the next patch. Going forward, poncle plans to bundle all new Steam achievements in a single update at the end of the year, though platforms with stricter achievement policies (PS and Xbox) might still get them at the same time as the patch releases instead.

The public-beta will be used heavily for this next patch, so anyone who wants to try new features and content in advance can do so by joining the Discord liked in the Steam post. You can also take a look at the upcoming Chaos Roadmap for future content coming in Vampire Survivors below:

Vampire Survivors is on PC (Steam, Xbox app, Game Pass), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile (iOS/Android) for around $4.99 for the base game, with DLCs costing extra, while the mobile version is free with optional ads.
