Today, Gaming Factory announced that JDM: Japanese Drift Master is officially coming to Xbox Series X|S on November 21, 2025, and PS5 shortly after in Q1 2026.
To celebrate the upcoming console releases of JDM: Japanese Drift Master, the developers are planning a pre-release window for the game, with pre-orders going live on November 14, rewarding you with the Akina Phantom, an unlicensed car that should be vividly familiar to fans of a certain manga and anime series.
The console version will retain all PC post-launch content updates, fixes, and game adjustments, as well as the $34.99 price tag at console launch. It is important to note that the Xbox port will not officially support steering wheels and will instead focus on further controller optimization to enhance the gaming experience on a TV.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master takes the players to an open-world, fictional Japanese prefecture – Guntama. The world features over 250 km of roads, famous tourist landmarks, legendary car enthusiast spots, and more for you to explore with brands like Nissan, Subaru, and Mazda.
Alongside plenty of cars to choose from and an exciting world to explore, the game also features a narrative told through in-game events and manga, giving it a unique feel and ambiance. The story mode centers on Touma, a Polish driver who dreams of making a name for himself on the local street-racing scene.
There are also plenty of side stories to explore in this realistic racing sim, including origins for characters in Rise of the Scorpion and Tiger. JDM: Japanese Drift Master is currently available on Steam. For more information on this and other racing simulators like iRacing, Project Motor Racing, and more.
