The weekend saw the races of Round 3 of the Gran Turismo World Series 2024, hosted in Tokyo Japan.
On Saturday, the Manufacturers Cup saw the victory of Team Lexus’ Kanata Kawakami, which brought the manufacturer to 13 points ahead of the series’ climax in December.
Porsche didn’t score any points this round, dropping in second place, with BMW following in third.

On Sunday, all eyes were on the Nations Cup, with Frenchman Kylian Drumont taking the top spot on the podium, followed by José Serrano from Spain and Japan’s Takuma Miyazono.
This places Dumont at the top of the ranking of the series with 11 points, followed by Serrano, Miyazono, and Valerio Gallo (who won the previous round) all with 10 points.

It’s certainly going to be a very close competition at the World Finals of the Gran Turismo World Series 2024, which will be hosted in Amsterdam, Netherlands, between December 6 and December 8, 2024.

The World Series is currently run on Gran Turismo 7, which is available for PS5 and PS4. The “My First GT” demo will soon be launched as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of PlayStation.
