Coffee Stain North held its Goat Direct 2026 today (and no, that’s not an April Fool’s joke), sharing the plans for the Goat Simulator franchise over the next year.
To kick things off, Goat Simulator 3’s Buck to the Future gear pack was released today. This pack includes 22 new gears, including a RoboCock goat skin. Players will be able to alter gravity, make NPCs bigger, create portals, and more.
The Goat Simulator 3 Buck to the Future gear pack is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
In case you were wondering after seeing the DLC platforms above, Goat Simulator 3 was also released on the Nintendo Switch 2. All of the DLC is also available separately, along with all of the previously released gear packs.
Goat Simulator 3 on the Nintendo Switch 2 will also support the GameShare feature, so friends can play together on local wireless connection with only one copy and two Switch consoles.
For those who own the digital version of the game for the original Nintendo Switch, the Switch 2 version will be 70% off.
There were several other announcements as well, including the following:
- Goat Simulator+ on Apple Arcade is getting the What the Car? car and Pilgor in a special event from April 30, 2026, to May 27, 2026.
- Community Challenge Winners were announced for the 12th anniversary of Goat Simulator (and Pilgor’s birthday).
- Fortnite’s “A Goat” Outfit is back in the Fortnite Shop.
- Goat Simulator 3 will be getting an Unreal Engine 5 update in the future
- Goat Simulator 3 DLCs are launching for the Amazon Luna
And, last but not least, Pilgor is being included in the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2026.
Creative Director at Coffee Stain North, Santiago Ferrero, shared a comment hinting at more news coming in the future (and on last year’s April Fool’s Day Goat Direct):
“I know we said it was a one-off, but we just had to bring Goat Direct for another year. With so many announcements to share, it made sense to pull together another grand goat showcase, and we hope you enjoyed what you saw today. We have a baa-rilliant year ahead of us, with even more yet to be revealed – just don’t read too much into that ending too much. Or do, if you want. I can’t stop you. I’m not your mother! … Or am I?”
