Goat Simulator Direct Announced For April Fools’ Day

Coffee Stain North is ready to make fools of themselves to celebrate 10 years, as they announced that their inaugural Goat Direct event for Goat Simulator will be taking place on April 1, 2025.

The Goat Direct is set to detail numerous world premiere reveals for the franchise, including news for Goat Simulator 3, announcements from Coffee Stain North’s partners, an update on Goat Simulator: The Card Game, and some more info that hasn’t been revealed yet. The event will take place at 10:00 EDT via the official YouTube channel, allowing you to watch along in livestream or watch it later as a VOD.

An in-game competition will also go live just a few short hours ahead of Goat Direct on Twitch Rivals at 17:00 EDT. In anticipation of the showcase, four teams of creators battle in a series of wacky minigames, with the winners being declared the true G.O.A.T.

The first installment was originally released in 2014 and became an instant hit with fans due to its wacky premise, broken physics, and odd challenges and antics. In 2022, a sequel, cleverly titled Goat Simulator 3 (skipping the second title as a joke), was released.

Once again, players are placed in the shoes of the titular crazy goat, and the new story mode adds numerous challenges and customization options. It is currently available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, & Game Pass), PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android for $29.99.

Goat Simulator: Remastered was also released on consoles and PC late last year, and is available for $29.99.
