Today SNK announced another guest character who will appear in its upcoming fighting game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and it’s Bosnian-Swedish DJ and record producer, Salvatore Ganacci.
Not content with shoehorning Cristiano Ronaldo into the beloved and storied world of Fatal Fury, apparently, SNK had to drop another celebrity into the fray.
We even hear about his in-game story.
Salvatore, an artist who fights for justice, comes to Southtown in search of inspiration to complete his latest (and likely greatest) animated music video. He hears about the King of Fighters tournament from his friend Duck King and decides to participate.
Salvatore mixes music, muscle, and mayhem with a fusion of DJing and martial arts, surprising even the toughest of opponents with his extraordinary abilities.
… Yeah. It’s weird.
Not only did Ganacci supervise the collaboration, but he also provided original music for the game.
You can check out an introductory trailer and another showcasing his gameplay.
Incidentally, Ganacci won’t have his own voice in the game. He’s voiced by Sean Chiplock in English (whom you can hear below) and you can find the Japanese version voiced by Hinata Tadokoro on the official YouTube channel.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will release on April 24, 2025, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is a brand-new fighting game and the sequel to the old and glorious Fatal Fury series, known in Japan as Garou Densetsu (Legend of the Hungry Wolf).
The franchise, which spanned the Neo Geo era before going dormant, is not only known and loved by many fans for its gameplay but also for its intricate storytelling and interesting characters.
If you’d like to see more, we recently saw the reveal of Gato, Marco Rodrigues, and Kain R. Heinlein, on top of the theme song. The game will also appear at the Esports World Cup 2025.
