Both have been revealed at SimRacing Expo 2025 and will release in Q1 2026, with pricing to be announced at a later date and a 3-year warranty in all regions.

We start with the Podium DD wheel base, which will replace the Podium Wheel Base DD2 in Fanatec’s flagship lineup, born as an evolution of the iconic ClubSport DD series.

It’s a powerful beast capable of guaranteeing a whopping 25 Nm holding torque, and you can read a full lineup of specs below.

Guaranteed torque stability

  • Consistent 25 Nm holding torque (33 Nm peak overshoot)
  • Optimized thermal management
  • Reinforced electronics and heatsink

Aluminum internals for strength and precision

  • Aluminum motor shaft
  • Aluminum bearing seats (front and rear)

Full metal casing for strength and heat dissipation

  • Diecast aluminum front and rear casing with diamond cut accents
  • Anodized aluminum body with cooling fins also function as the side rail mounting system (bottom mounting also possible)

Custom-designed Direct Drive servo motor

  • Developed in Germany specifically for the Podium DD
  • Optimized skew angle on rotor magnets reduces cogging torque
  • Patented, exclusive FluxBarrier technology improves motor efficiency and smoothness

FullForce technology

  • Super low-latency detail effects through fine motor frequency control
  • Fuses high-fidelity vibration cues with the core force feedback signal to deliver a more immersive driving experience

Next is the Podium Pedals, which come with the standard 3-pedal package or with a 2-pedal setup appropriately named Podium Pedals Formula for those who don’t need the clutch.

Here’s what you can expect. Of course, the clutch part is related only to the 3-pedal set.

Throttle

  • Diecast and CNC-machined aluminum
  • Custom Hall sensor precision-calibrated at factory
  • Tool-free, independent travel and preload adjustment
  • Industrial-grade ball bearings

Brake

  • Forged aluminum pedal arm and mid arm
  • Extraordinary strength ensures precision inputs
  • Calibrated for 150 kg at the pedal plate
  • Custom load cell sensor rated >200 kg
  • Patented elastomer compression control system
  • Tool-free travel and resistance adjustment
  • Industrial-grade ball bearings
  • Optional linear springs (included) allow for a softer brake pedal

Clutch

  • Diecast and CNC-machined aluminum
  • Custom Hall sensor precision-calibrated at factory
  • Tool-free, independent travel, preload, and clutch bite point adjustment
  • Patented clutch bite point slider adjusts position of resistance peak
  • Industrial-grade ball bearings

In the gallery, you can see some fancy renders provided by Fanatec, including the DD on the top row, the 3-pedal package in the middle, and the Formula version of the pedals at the bottom.
