Euro Truck Simulator 2 developer SCS Software revealed another of the coaches coming to the game and another look at the Benelux rework.
We start with the coach, which is the Volvo 9700 Double Decker, which will be available in  6×2 configuration, standing 4 metres tall and measuring 14.3 metres in length. It’s definitely a big boy.
Not only do we get to see plenty of screenshots, but also some of the customization options from the official color palette offered by Volvo, alongside curtains and passenger seats.

Moving on to geographic updates, we take a look at Eindhoven in the Netherlands, which will be part of the Benelux rework. As a matter of fact, it’s a brand-new addition to the map.
As usual, it’ll be full of recognizable landmarks and places to find work. Interestingly, it’ll even include the DAF Trucks factory. t’s not a 100% 1-to-1 reproduction of the facility, but an interpretation of it created in direct collaboration with DAF sice some parts could not be reproduced to respect “certain boundaries.”
Below, you can enjoy a gallery of screenshots alongside footage released by the developer on X (formerly Twitter).

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced. A beta for update 1.58 has recently been made available.
The Iceland DLC was revealed a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, and the Ring Road.
The last national DLC announced a few weeks ago focuses on Ireland.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we also recently saw the port of Rotterdam, the city of Brussels, Luxembourg, and Antwerp. The UK is also being reworked.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, and the MAN Lion’s Coach.
