SCS Software revealed the first feature that will come in the next update for Euro Truck Simulator 2, numbered 1.59.
According to the official post, the update will include the Volvo Trucks Experience Center in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Basically, it’s a facility that combines presentation spaces with a driving course designed to showcase the performance of Volvo’s trucks.
The track includes ” track incorporates sweeping bends, tighter technical corners, elevation changes, downhill stretches, and varied road layouts.”
The center has been recreated in Euro Truck Simulator 2 in almost 1:1 scale, so you’ll be able to drive the full circuit and explore the facility.
That being said, not everyone will get to visit, since the Scandinavia DLC will be required.

The last national DLC announced a few weeks ago focuses on Ireland.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we also recently saw the port of Rotterdam, the city of Brussels, Luxembourg, Antwerp, Eindhoven , Groningen, and the Gas Stations. The UK is also being reworked.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, the MAN Lion’s Coach, and the Volvo 9700 Double Decker.
