First of all, we get the Scandinavia Refresh that has been teased for a long time.

Those who own the Scandinavia DLC will get the following perks.

  • A full refresh of the region with updated textures, vegetation, and road assets, alongside new rest stops and fuel stations.
  • A major overhaul of the road network: custom-designed junctions replacing old prefabs (notably around Denmark’s motorways and Sweden’s busy E-corridors).
  • New map additions, including the brand-new cities of Aarhus in Denmark and Karlstad in Sweden, along with a completely rebuilt Copenhagen featuring modern infrastructure and landmark recreations to enrich the network and scenery, and much more for you to discover!

If you want to see more besides the screenshots included in the gallery below, you can take a look at the city of Aarhus, Motorway 16 in Denmark, Copenhagen, and Karlstad.

Another relevant new feature is HDR support, which comes with a revamped brightness menu. If your monitor supports HDR, it’ll be enabled by default.

Cursor navigation has been improved, making its speed consistent across screen resolutions. Overall speed and precision have been increased while using a controller.

We also get features that were already announced, including dynamic loading and unloading, new content for the Special Transport DLC, an update for the Scania R and S, and new company logos and paint jobs.

Another DLC that is getting an update is the Krone Trailer Pack, including City versions of existing trailers. They’re as follows.

  • Profi Liner City
  • Cool Liner City
  • Dry Liner City
  • Profi Liner HCT

You can check out the new features in the gallery.

Here’s the full changelog.

As usual, this is not yet the full stable version of the patch, so if you join the beta, you should expect some issues here and there.

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced.

Nordic Horizons will likely be the next paid DLC. You can already check out its gameplay reveal, on top of the landscapes, landmarks, the city of Oulu, the churches, the lakes of Finland, more roadside landmarks, the town of Andenes, Kiruna, its famous wooden church, fjords and mountains, and the Custom Depots.

The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we recently saw the port of Rotterdam and the city of Brussels. The UK is also being reworked.

The Iceland DLC was announced a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, and the Ring Road.

The last national DLC announced a few days ago focuses on Ireland.

Another interesting DLC will bring Coaches into the game, and we recently saw its bus stations and the Scania Touring.
