Today, in collaboration with Krone Trailers and Trailer Dynamics, SCS Software unveiled some exciting new content that is coming to Euro Truck Simulator 2, known as the Krone Trailer Pack. In this upcoming update, players will now be able to change the look of their truck with customizable eTrailers.
The partnership between SCS Software and Trailer Dynamics dates back to last year, where the developers were invited to participate in this innovative and modern technological advancement the world of virtual trucking. The Kone Trailer pack is available now for a price point of $1.99, which is actually discounted at 50% off of the usual price of $3.99
The catch is that the KRONE eTrailer is currently only available on the Freight Market and can only be used for shorter jobs under 350km and when hauling certain cargoes only. Anyone who does one of these contracts can choose between the eDry Liner and the eCool Liner. The trailers will also reduce the diesel consumption and CO2 emissions of a semitrailer tractor by 20 to 40 percent.
In other Euro Truck Simulator 2 news, patch 2 1.51 was recently released. It features plenty of new content, reworked maps, UI updates, and a handful of bug fixes to improve the game’s overall quality of life.
