SCS Software released new screenshots and details about the upcoming Iceland DLC coming to Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Specifically, the new official post focuses on churches, which are a fairly common sight in Iceland’s uncommon landscape.
We get to take a look at Hallgrímskirkja in the capital city of Reykjavík, Akureyrarkirkja in Akureyri, Blönduóskirkja in Blönduós, Reykjahlíðarkirkja in Reykjahlíð, Seyðisfjarðarkirkja on Iceland’s eastern coast, Víkurkirkja in Vik, Selfosskirkja in Selfoss, Ísafjarðarkirkja in Ísafjörður, and Húsavíkurkirkja in Húsavík.
And thank goodness I just had to write this, because if I had to pronounce these names, I’d be in real trouble.
You can find all the screenshots below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced. The open beta of update 1.56 was also made available a few days ago.
We don’t know when the Iceland DLC will be released, since it was only announced a few weeks ago, but you can also enjoy additional screenshots.
A refresh of the Scandinavia DLC (of which you can enjoy the city of Aarhus) is in the works alongside the Nordic Horizons DLC, of which you can check out the landscapes, landmarks, the city of Oulu, the churches, the lakes of Finland, more roadside landmarks, the town of Andenes, and Kiruna.
Speaking of reworks, the BeNeLux region is also getting a refresh, and we recently saw the port of Rotterdam.
Recently, we also got to see a smaller DLC dedicated to Krone agricultural equipment, providing highly detailed and branded cargo to carry around Europe.
Another big addition will be Project Coaches, which will eventually add coach buses to the game.
