SCS Software is continuing to showcase the upcoming expansions for its popular transportation simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2, and today we get to see more of the DLC focusing on Greece.
With a new blog post, the developer showcased a large landmark located in Thessaloniki, the second largest city in the country, a cement plant established all the way back in 1962.
As you can see in some of the screenshots below, not only the plant is very large, visible from the nearby highway, but it also features one of the most extensive artistic mural projects in Europe.
Of course, the plant isn’t just cosmetic, but it comes with gameplay value. It’s one of the largest cement producers in Greece, so players will be able to find plenty of job contracts available to and from it.
At the moment, the Greece DLC doesn’t yet have an announced release date. Yet, we know that the developer plans to release some content during the week of the IAA Transportation 2024 event between September 17 and September 22. They haven’t said whether this DLC would be part of the festivities.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is currently available for PC. It’s one of the few games on Steam that has seen a pretty consistent climb in its peak daily playerbase since its launch in 2012.
If you’d like to learn more, you can also take another look at the Greece-focused expansion and another at the Nordic Horizons DLC that is also coming down the line.
