Today, SCS Software revealed new screenshots and details of the Coaches DLC, which will add highway buses to Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Specifically, today we hear about the bus stations, where players pick up and drop off passengers.
Interestingly, the developers have already been working hard at refreshing old prefabs in-game-Specifically, 6 of them have been completely rebuilt, while the newest is getting a lighter refresh.
There are also bus stations that are being completely redesigned to mirror their real-life locations. This includes famous ones like Hunedoara in Romania.
Many new stations are being added as well to improve overall coverage across Europe.
Some of the custom stations will be intentionally more challenging to navigate.
Incidentally, all the map updates made to accommodate the Coaches DLC will be given to everyone who owns the base game and the appropriate regional DLCs. You won’t need to own the Coaches DLC itself.

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced. The open beta of update 1.56 was also made available a few days ago.
We don’t know when the Coaches DLC will be released just yet, as SCS Software prefers to announce release dates only at the last moment.
The Benelux region is also getting a rework, and we recently saw the port of Rotterdam and the city of Brussels.
Another refresh of the Scandinavia DLC (of which you can enjoy the city of Aarhus) is in the works alongside the Nordic Horizons DLC, of which you can check out the landscapes, landmarks, the city of Oulu, the churches, the lakes of Finland, more roadside landmarks, the town of Andenes, and Kiruna.
The Iceland DLC was also announced a few weeks ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, on top of its churches.
