Twisted Minds wins PUBG: Battlegrounds at Esports World Cup 2025

Another tournament concluded at the Esports World Cup 2025, and Twisted Minds brought home the title for the original battle royale PUBG: Battlegrounds.

The Saudi organization (albeit its main PUBG team counts zero local players) managed to leave behind Gen.G Esports, which ranked second, and Team Falcons, which ranked third. The Expendables ranked fourth.

Twisted Minds brings home a $661,000 prize pool. Gen.G Esports wins $302,000. Team Falcons wins $208,000, and The Expendables ranked $141,000.

For those who care about the club championship ranking, this win brings Twisted Minds up to 4th place, despite having more wins than both the current first and third ranking teams.

The Esports World Cup is hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and it’s already at the end of its sixth week, with many of its tournaments having already crowned their champions

The competition is scheduled to continue for another week until August 24.

Earlier during the event, Team Redline won the Rennsport sim racing championship, Goichi brought home the trophy for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Team Heretics won the Valorant tournament, VK Gaming won in Apex Legends, Team Spirit won in Dota 2, Team Vitality won the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang invitational, and Evos Esports won Free Fire.

Also, Gen.G won League of Legends, Serral won Starcraft 2, All Gamers for Honor of Kings, OpTic won Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Team Liquid Philippines won Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Yangoon Galacticos won PUBG Mobile, Team Falcons won Overwatch 2, Team Secret won Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege X, and Twisted Minds won Call of Duty: Warzone.

Lastly, ManuBachoore won Ea Sports FC 25 and Weibo Gaming won Teamfight Tactics.
