As teased yesterday, and as the title quite obviously indicates, this is the remaster in Unreal Engine 5 of the classic fourth mainline chapter of the RPG saga of The Elder Scrolls.

It’s currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, on top of Game Pass.

For those who don’t have Game Pass, it’s priced slightly weirdly according to regions: $49.99 for the US, 54,99€ for Europe, and £49.99 for the UK.

A Deluxe Edition is available for $59.99/64,99€/€£59,99. It includes the following:

  • Digital base game
  • Unique digital Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon Armors, Weapons, and Horse Armor Sets
  • Digital Artbook and Soundtrack App
  • Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine story expansions
  • Additional downloadable content: Fighter’s Stronghold expansion, Spell Tome Treasures, Vile Lair, Mehrune’s Razor, The Thieves Den, Wizard’s Tower, Orrery, and Horse Pack Armor

It’s worth mentioning that the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine expansions are also included in the base release.

The game has been greatly enhanced in both gameplay and graphics by French studio Virtuous, and you can hear how directly from the developers in the presentation below.

It’s worth reminding that a fan remaster of the original The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion called “Skyblivion” is also coming, utilizing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s engine.

The release is planned for this year, and its developers appear to be determined to make it available despite the official remaster.
