Cities: Skylines 2 Expansion Pass 2 marks Iceflake Studios’ first expansion pass since taking over development of Cities: Skylines 2 late last year, introducing the studio’s first wave of original content for the city-building game. The pass expands several core aspects of city management, including park development, tourism, commercial districts, residential areas, and emergency services.

The Downtown Market Set is available immediately as part of the release, adding a social hub built around repurposed shipping containers and food trucks, with a container gate serving as the centerpiece and individual food truck lots that can be placed throughout the city. The set also includes a Scottish-inspired Temperate map featuring lochs, rivers, and ruins, giving players a new environment to build in.

Park Adventures introduces a modular park-building system that lets players define park areas and develop them across four types: city parks, zoos, amusement parks, and nature reserves. Parks can level up as they attract visitors and a dedicated economy gives players control over ticket prices, staffing budgets, and maintenance, with more than 100 new assets and five maps included.

City Vacations expands the tourism system with new visitor-oriented buildings, landmarks, and attractions, while seasonal changes now influence visitor numbers. Players can also manage tourist arrival flows, preferred transportation methods, and how visitors spend money throughout the city, adding additional considerations to developing a successful destination.

Cities: Skylines 2 Expansion Pass 2 includes several creator-focused additions.

Modern Suburbs by Trist1322, which introduces contemporary low-rise residential buildings, mixed-use structures, and one- to three-story row homes that can stand alone or complement existing residential areas.

First Response by Arthaix also expands emergency infrastructure with specialized facilities covering fire, disaster, medical, and police services, alongside Combined Response facilities that bring multiple emergency functions together.

Map Pack by Uncle Ron adds seven maps inspired by locations around the world, ranging from tropical islands to alpine valleys and desert canyons, providing new terrain and environments for city development. Corner Street Beats rounds out the pass with a new radio station designed around late-night city-building sessions.

The launch of Cities: Skylines 2 Expansion Pass 2 is accompanied by the Autumn Breeze patch, which introduces a range of gameplay, visual, user interface, and other improvements.

Cities: Skylines 2 Expansion Pass 2 is available now on PC for $44.99, with up to 24% savings over buying each pack separately. For more updates and DLC news for the simulator, check back with Simulation Daily.
