Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that Bleach Rebirth of Souls, its upcoming 3D action fighter based on the beloved manga and anime, would arrive on Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS5 & PS4 on March 21, 2025.
Bleach Rebirth of Souls was originally announced back in July at Anime Expo 2024 and is being developed by Tamsoft, who are best known for their work on Oneechanbara and Senran Kagura. The trailer below includes scenes from the Soul Society arc where Ichigo and his allies try to save Rukia from execution, meaning the game will adapt a lot of important moments from the series.
Alongside the reveal of prominent story arcs, the video also shows off two new playable characters: Aizen and Yamamoto. We don’t know to what extent players will be able to control these characters compared to protagonist Ichigo, but we have already seen several unique trailers for playable fighters that highlight their abilities in Bleach Rebirth of Souls.
Pre-orders for Bleach Rebirth of Souls are available now, coming in three different versions:
- Standard Edition – Base game
- Digital Deluxe Edition – Base game, season pass including seven days of early access, soul crystal set (#2) useful to upgrade characters’ abilities.
- Digital Ultimate Edition – Base game, season pass including seven days of early access, soul crystal (#2, #3), Thousand-Year Blood War Costume Set and Rebirth of Souls Costume Set.
Regardless of your version, anyone who pre-orders will get the Toshiro and Yoruichi Thousand-Year Blood War costume set as a bonus. For more information on its release and plenty of character reveals as they occur, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
