Today, Ubisoft announced that Anno 117: Pax Romana – Prophecies of Ash will be released on April 23, 2026, for Ubisoft Connect, Steam, Epic, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The announcement was made during Anno Day, a livestream celebration of the franchise, which showcased a trailer for Anno 117: Pax Romana’s first official gameplay DLC, which you can see just below. Prophecies of Ash adds several new features to the game, including a new deity to worship, a resource known as obsidian, a trader named Ceacilia, and a new location, Cinas
Cinas is the largest island ever in the Anno series and home to a volcano that threatens to erupt at any moment. These additions will challenge players and expand their options for governing their empire. Executive Producer Stéphane Jankowski had this to say about the unique strategies that come alongside the DLC:
“Prophecies of Ash raises the stakes of the game while providing our community with opportunities to be more strategic as they navigate the complexities that come with growing their Roman empire.”

The DLC is available as a standalone title for $12 or is included as part of the Year 1 Pass, which includes all three 2026 expansions. In addition, Anno 117: Pax Romana also announced it will launch a friend referral program.
Taking place from April 9 to May 12, 2026, this program allows players to earn Fame Points for each person they refer to the game: one referral earns 30 Fame Points, two referrals earn 50 Fame Points, and three referrals earn 90 Fame Points. These can then be used in the Hall of Fame in-game to unlock additional cosmetics, new music tracks, and more.
Anno 117: Pax Romana is available now on Ubisoft Connect, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and PC (Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, & Steam). For more information on this and other strategy titles coming to round out the year, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily.
