We get to take a good look at Avery Island and its iconic swamps. Interestingly, the developers have paid homage to the well-known Jalapeño hot sauce from the area by including a Flavorfair food factory where you’ll be able to find delivery jobs.

We also get to see the content available in Louisiana for those who have the Special Transport DLC. It’ll include the following routes.

  • New Orleans to LaFayette
  • Lake Charles to Natchitoches

American Truck Simulator is available for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are also coming. Update 1.57 for PC has recently been made available.

Louisiana already has a release date and is coming on December 4, 2025.

If you’d like to see more, you can also enjoy Louisiana’s extensive gameplay reveal, its truck stops, welcome centers, buildings, some cities, more settlements, its forests and wetlands, more cities, the bridges, the road network, Port Fourchon, Shreveport, the custom depots, even more custom depots, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, the ferries, and the drawbridges.

Illinois is likely coming after Louisiana and you can check out its truck stops, the city of Marion, Rockford, Quincy, even more truck stops, Moline, Peoria, and Champaign.

South Dakota should come after, and we already saw its Truck Stops, countryside, towns, and cities.

The game will soon cross the borders of the United States and go to Canada with the British Columbia DLC.

On top of that, a rework has been revealed for the areas around the famous Route 66.

Another big project is the Road Trip feature, spearheaded by the Ford Car Pack, which will expand the simulator’s experience from trucks to cars and pickup trucks, including pure exploration and the delivery of smaller packages.
