Today, tinyBuild and All Parts Connected announced their brand new city builder, All Will Fall, launching on PC via Steam in 2025.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, All Will Fall combines the high-stakes excitement of surviving the end of the world with the strategic element of city building and colony management. The sim also places heavy emphasis on physics-based building, meaning that your buildings can fall over like Jenga towers if they aren’t constructed just right.
The 3D physics aren’t the only obstacle you’ll have to overcome when building in All Will Fall, as space and resources are limited since the world is overflowing with water. As you build on this oceanic template, you’ll need to lead your colony by managing the needs and wants of different factions in your city, like Sailors, Engineers, and Workers.
Each faction features unique traits, meaning that one decision might be best for one group but could cause strife amongst others. To make the right call, players will review and implement policies, manage the workload to maximize the effectiveness of production facilities and do their best to maintain a balance between the factions.
You can also cause complete chaos and become a tyrant, picking favorites and implementing policies that punish anyone who defies you. As with any choice in real life, these decisions will also have consequences, so tread carefully.
Regardless of how you choose to rule, you must overcome various challenges in All Will Fall. Send out expeditions for resources, face unique threats with each play session, unlock various scenarios, and create new colonies to establish humanity’s new home above the seas.
There is no word on any console ports of All Will Fall. For anyone who wants to try the game early, there is currently a playtest running on Steam up until January 31, 2025.
