Transport Fever 3 is coming to shake up the successful management simulation formula of its predecessor, with plenty of new features and interesting tweaks.
To learn more about the game and what makes it special compared to Transport Fever 2 and the rest of the genre, Simulation Daily talked to Urban Games Publishing Manager Nicolas Heini at Tokyo Game Show 2025.
Nicolas had plenty of insight to share, including some of the new features that we can expect, why making bigger maps isn’t a trivial task, and gameplay elements like the expansion of the tycoon simulation part and boosters.

Transport Fever 3 is the successor of the popular transport tycoon simulator Transport Fever 2.
It was announced back in May by Urban Games, and it brings plenty of new features to the franchise. It’ll release in 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
