The release of The First Berserker: Khazan is just around the corner, bringing the massive Dungeon Fighter franchise to consoles with a completely new genre.

In a market that’s almost saturated with Souls-like games, the developers at Neople have certainly worked hard in differentiating Khazan from the competition, alongside the effort to honor the legacy of Dungeon Fighter Online (also known as Dungeon & Fighter in Korea and other regions), which is one of the most successful mobile games ever.

To learn more about this interesting new game in the franchise, we interviewed Creative Director Junho Lee and Art director Kyuchul Lee, who shared their insight into a few interesting topics.

We hear how they intend to make The First Berserker: Khazan shine in a crowded market, what veterans of the franchise can expect in terms of familiar elements, the importance of storytelling, the art style, and more.
