Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has been affected by a ghosting problem with DLSS for the longest time, but a new version of the feature comes close to fixing the issue.
The new DLSS 4.5 announced and released yesterday at CES 2026 comes with a new Preset M that reduces ghosting in the simulator radically, although not completely.
To show you the benefits of this new version, we have created a video comparing it to the previous latest and greatest, Preset K. It should provide ample evidence that Present M is the new way to go if you enjoy using DLSS and frame generation with MSFS 2024.
Of course, the video also explains how to activate Preset M so that you can enjoy it on your own simulator.
Incidentally, this should work perfectly fine with MSFS 2020 as well. Of course, this article doesn’t apply to AMD video cards, and even less to console versions of MSFS 2024.
