Come with us to explore the brand-new Stuttgart Airport (EDDS) in Germany, in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, thanks to the simulator’s innovative walkaround feature.
The airport is made by Aerosoft and bears the signature of star creator Jo Erlend Sund. It’ll launch on Monday, March 23, 2026.
The terminal is almost fully walkable, including the jetways. As far as we know, Aerosoft is only the second developer to adopt this innovation. Of course, this is ideal for our walkthroughs.
This is the sixth episode of this video series, following Perth, Katowice, Rovaniemi, Rome Fiumicino, and Key West, as we continue to celebrate the labor of love of many developers who are delivering airports that look better and better and more feature-rich as time goes on.
Please keep in mind that this is not a review, but simply an unscripted and completely casual exploration to show you what the airport looks like.
Of course, seeing every nook and cranny of the airport for over an hour may help you make an educated decision on whether this is worth your money, and that’s in line with our mission to provide you with the tools to judge on your own.
Incidentally, the airport is available only for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. No MSFS 2020 version has been announced at the moment of this writing, although it has not been ruled out.
You can watch the video below to see the airport in its entirety. Of course, we’d appreciate it if you could like it and subscribe to our growing YouTube channel, as that’s always extremely helpful. Comments and feedback are also always welcome, even more so if you have questions and doubts, to which we’ll try to respond ASAP.
