Nintendo released a new video for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, giving a more detailed look at the inside of the Still World, the realm inside the rifts.
Zelda is on the hunt to save Link and the King of Hyrule after they disappear into mysterious rifts that pop up all over Hyrule. The princess is able to venture into the rifts with the help of Tri, an equally mysterious small creature.
The newest video brings fans into the rifts to show off the Still World. Here, anything that the rifts absorb floats aimlessly before vanishing. Each rift has its own unique Still World with its own features. A few environments in the video include raging volcanoes, flora-filled jungles, vast canyons, frozen tundras, and water-filled temples.
To get around the Still World, Zelda will have to put her platforming princess skills to the test. Jumping between floating terrain and creating echoes of items to make platforms are key ways to get around.
There are also dungeons inside the Still World. These will force players to get creative and use their echoes to find ways around.
Plus, Zelda has a swordfighter form to take down some enemies quickly. Once players find a mysterious sword, Zelda gets an original Link costume and is able to attack smaller enemies on her own.
Her moves in this form are reminiscent of Link’s moves in the announcement for the game, begging the question of whether or not Link trained her.
Swordfighter form Zelda doesn’t last long, and players have to refill its energy before using it again. Players can find this energy in the Still World.
Earlier this month, Nintendo released a video exploring the world and some characters of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. In the newest video, Nintendo introduced more characters, including Dampé, an automaton engineer. Zelda can wind up his creations to unleash powerful effects.
Zelda fans will recognize a few friendly faces in the video, including an infamous fairy. An ominous ending to the trailer also showed Link with a shadow aura, looking like he’s about to attack. Zelda may have to take on her beloved guardian.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be released on September 26, 2024 on Nintendo Switch. On the same day, a Hyrule Edition Nintendo Switch Lite will be released.
Nintendo’s most recent financials show that both the console and software for it have dropped year-on-year – Echoes of Wisdom could help this.
