Wizdom Academy, the magical school management sim, is hitting early access on April 17, 2025.
In Wizdom Academy, players become the Headmaster. Running a magic academy isn’t an easy task. Players will need to build the academy, starting with building vertical buildings and designing every nook and cranny in them (like dorm rooms, mana storage, and more).
As the Headmaster, players are in charge of recruiting and overseeing the training of wizards. They’ll start as apprentices and eventually become elite sorcerers, and the Headmaster can shape their unique abilities and destinies. Training wizards means remembering and meeting the needs of the students themselves and the Council’s will.
This is also important because Headmasters have to keep relationships good with the villages and academies nearby. Players will need to increase their influence and stay at the top of the food chain to dissuade enemies from attacking.
There’s also exploration and dungeons to discover, which can help with finding resources. Of course, a magical school needs resources to run, and as Headmaster, players are in charge of finding them.
Developers Kipwak Studio released a trailer for Wizdom Academy to celebrate the early access release date announcement, which players can view below:
Wizdom Academy will also be part of Steam Next Fest, and a demo will be available for it from February 14 to March 3. This isn’t the first demo that the game has had, but it has been updated. Some of the updates include:
- Deeper student progression/recruitment
- Redesigned map with dungeons, villages, and alliances
- New defensive mechanics
