Dig Up Indie has released Warhead Circus, its 3D fighter jet roguelike game, and it’s on sale to commemorate the launch.
Warhead Circus put players in the pilot seat of a fighter jet in space. The goal is to survive the incoming missiles, using techniques like barrel rolls to evade the onslaught.
Machine guns on the fighter jet will automatically fire, so players just have to focus on pointing them in the right direction. However, this is easier said than done when there are consistently dozens of missiles coming for the player.
The unique artstyle makes this almost akin to a light show, with missiles of all colors coming for the player quite quickly. Not only does the fast-paced gameplay give players something to focus on, but it’s also a feast for the eyes.
You can get a sense of how chaotic things can get in the promotional video for Warhead Circus below:
As a roguelike, there are different upgrades and strategies players can implement to make each adventure feel different. By upgradinga nd strengthening their planes, players can survive for longer and reach new heights.
To upgrade their fighter jets, players have to do something a bit different: attack the boss. By attacking the boss, players can pause its attacks. Doing so gives them time to upgrade their jet.

Warhead Circus is available now on PC for $8.99.
