VRChat has released Version 2025.1.3, making it Build 1606 and introducing three new features for VRC+ subscribers and tons of changes/fixes to the platform.
Those who subscribe to VRC+ have access to a Camera Drone, Camera Dolly, and Selfie Expression, plus new badges.
The Camera Drone is a drone that players can use to record or fly around with friends in. The drone has several settings that can be tinkered with. This means that players can opt for easier flying, while those with yokes can take the controls much further.
The Camera Dolly is a streamlined way of taking videos. It can be programmed to automatically follow a sequence and animations. Currently, these features are:
- Position
- Rotation
- Zoom
- Focal Distance
- Aperture
- Look-at-me Offsets
- Green Screen Color
Players can also adjust how fast the camera moves and transitions. It also lets players record videos without relying on external programs like OBS. Players can see how the Camera Dolly works below:
Last but not least of the new features is Selfie Expression. This lets VRC+ subscribers use their webcam to track them and their avatar to mirror them.
For right now, this feature is in Early Access. Once it’s fully fleshed out, it will more than likely be available to all VRChat users.
Additionally, new badges are available for VRChat+ subscribers that show how long they’re subscribed. These were rolled out quietly last week.
There were also several things that have been adjusted and fixed, such as the Safety Settings Menu and camera indicators. Players can check out the full patch notes here to read each of these.

VRChat releases updates quite frequently. If you’ve missed the past few, you can check out Version 2024.4.2 and Version 2025.1.1 to catch up.
