Publisher Toplitz Productions announced another of its series of “Dynasty” life simulators, and this time around it’s Vikings Dynasty. Don’t act surprised, we all knew it was coming at some point.
The series has produced a wide variety of games. Some were pretty bad misses, but there certainly are some highly-rated hits like the recent Sengoku Dynasty or Medieval Dynasty.
The main reason for that is that they’re made by different developers, so there’s some variance at play. Vikings Dynasty is developed by Wrocław-based Polish studio Digital Daredevils.
While the studio appears to be at its first game under that name, its social media links point to Kids With Sticks, a small indie studio including 5 developers who created Rogue Spirits, a 3D rogue-lite action game that received “mostly positive” reviews on Steam. Among past projects, we also find The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
Digital Daredevils itself is recruiting, as the official site mentions, so they’re likely looking to enlarge the team to tackle the development of Vikings Dynasty, which is slated for release on PC via Steam in late 2025.

With an intuitive building system as well as a deep crafting mechanic, customization and multi-layered decoration, the sky’s the only limit for your viking village. If you want to arrange it chaotically or in a clean manner is fully up to you. Utilize natural resources to your heart’s content, but be wary: If you exploit Mother Nature, she will not forget.
We’ll have to wait and see whether Vikings Dynasty will end up on the good pile of Dynasty games or on the not-so-good pile. Hopefully, it’ll be the latter. The concept is certainly promising and the Nordic setting has plenty of charm.
