Monster Hunter Wilds Reveals Plenty of Gameplay and the Amstrigian

Today, during a panel from PAX West, Capcom revealed plenty of gameplay of the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds.

Alongside the gameplay, we also get the reveal of the Amstrigian, an endemic bird that we’ll meet in the game. They’re described as follows.

“They mostly live in the Scarlet Forest, but migrate to the Windward Plains during the Plenty, to breed. They mate and share nesting and feeding duties to raise their babies. In the field, you can see them catching grasshoppers and feeding in their nests.”

This also debunks a previous interpretation, that identified the bird as a “Baby Pukei Pukei” when it appeared in a previous trailer. You can see it portrayed in the image at the top of this post.

Monster Hunter Wilds will release in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Street Fighter 6 Reveals Terry Bogard’s Fighting Pass and Concept Art

Today Capcom revealed the fighting pass that serves to introduce Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury as a guest character to Street Fighter 6

On top of that, we also saw during the panel at PAX West new concept art showing his original costume and his Outfit 2, which comes straight from the upcoming game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

Street Fighter 6 is currently available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. An arcade version is also available in Japan. Terry Bogard will launch on September 24, 2024.

Miles Edgeworth Coming to Among Us

Another reveal made at Capcom’s PAX West panel is the arrival of a Miles Edgeworth (or Reiji Mitsurugi if you prefer his real name in Japanese) costume for Among Us. It’ll be released on September 9.

This collaboration was created to celebrate the upcoming launch of Capcom’s Ace Attorney Investigations Collection.
