Today Koei Tecmo released an extensive video showing new gameplay of the dating simulator Venus Vacation Prism – Dead or Alive Xtreme.
The gameplay is in Japanese and shows both Elise and Fiona in action, mostly wearing the outfits from the Yom collaboration DLC.
Interestingly, we also get a rather nice look at the photo mode, which is a very important part of the game.

Venus Vacation Prism – Dead or Alive Xtreme releases in Japan and Asia for PC, PS5, and PS4 on March 27, 2025. While it won’t be officially released in the West, an English localization will be included in the game.
Koei Tecmo apparently wants to keep the game as far as possible from Western eyes as it can, to the point that the Steam page is geolocked and you need a VPN to access it. However, if you want to play it on a PC, we recently saw the system requirements. We also have another recent trailer.
The game will star Nanami, Misaki, Elise, Fiona, Tamaki, and Honoka, who will be the only heroine who debuted in the original Dead or Alive fighting series, while everyone else debuted in Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation, albeit Tamaki ended up appearing as a DLC fighter in Dead or Alive 6.
At the moment, we don’t know if Koei Tecmo has any plans at all to bring back the fighting game series. Unfortunately, the company has remained completely quiet about the possibility, leaving the many fans of the storied franchise completely in the dark about its future, if it even has one.
