Soedesco has announced the release date for Truck Driver: The Dutch Connection, its upcoming truck driving simulator coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and it’s coming soon on October 31, 2025.
Truck Driver: The Dutch Connection follows the stories of Felix, a veteran truck driver who’s navigating a long-distance relationship due to his career, and Lucas, a newcomer to the truck driving scene who’s navigating his relationship with his parents after dropping out of law school.
The simulator, which was built in Unreal Engine 5.5, follows these two characters and their lives on a fictional map based on many European countries, though it was particularly inspired by the Netherlands. With dynamic weather systems, a survival system that has players ready to eat and sleep, and a Free Roaming Mode to explore the map, there’s plenty for players to do.
Additionally, Truck Driver: The Dutch Connection has over 40 different vehicles driving the roads outside of vehicles that the player can drive. These various cars, trucks, and trailers make the game feel a bit more immersive, breaking up what could be a monotonous drive.
The simulator will be available both physically and digitally later this month. It will be released with 35 missions, though there are plans to add more in the future.
