A new trailer shows the super-busy Frankfurt-Fulda Line in Germany, which will be available with all three paid editions of the game.

It’ll have five locomotives available including the high-speed ICE-T, while those who purchase the more expensive editions will also be able to enjoy FlixTrain’s Siemens Vectron.

You can check out the trailer providing a look at the line and the ICE-T in action below.

Train Sim World 5 will be released on September 17 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It’ll also include the ability to take advantage of a lot of additional content from the get-go since compatibility with previous versions is available.

Just yesterday we saw the iconic West Coast Main Line in the UK, which will also be included in all paid editions (standard, deluxe, and special).

If you’re wondering why I mention “paid editions,” it’s because there will also be a Free Starter Pack, which won’t include any specific route but can be used with any add-on that you may already have from Train Sim World 4 and previous titles of the series, allowing everyone to upgrade to the new features at no additional cost.

If you’re interested in transport simulation beyond trains and would like to try aircraft, you can read our introductory guide to flight simulation, alongside the second episode focusing on installing add-ons, and another showcasing the basic instruments.

You can also enjoy plenty of flight simulation news in yesterday’s roundup article.
