We get the promise of hands-on opportunities with games from the sponsors of the event, including Phoenixx, Bandai Namco. Byking, BeXide, CRI Middleware, G-Mode Corporation, Kadokawa, MyDearest, room6, Shochiku, Scooter Films, and Yokaze.

Of course, these aren’t the only developers that will be showcased at the event, but information on more exhibitors will come at a later time.

If you’re unfamiliar with Tokyo Indie Games Summit, it’ll be hosted in Kichijoji, Tokyo, between Saturday, March 8, and Sunday, March 9, 2025. The exhibition area will be expanded compared to the footprint the event enjoyed in 2024.

The first day will be a business day for developers and industry professionals to mingle and interact, while the second day will be open to everyone who wants to enjoy plenty of indie games.

The event’s first edition was in 2023, so the 2025 edition will be the third. The concept is “a place where various talents of indie game creators can gather together and be inspired to pursue their goals.”

The press release included a comment from Kazunori Sakamoto, CEO of Phoenixx and founder of Tokyo Indie Games Summit, who teases more surprises to come before the event is hosted in March.

“There was so much creativity on display during last year’s Tokyo Indie Games Summit, and it is a joy to know that we’re able to provide an even larger platform than we had last year to showcase even more titles than before.

Many thanks to this year’s partners who help make this event possible. We have more surprises to share as we approach March; stay tuned!”

If you’re interested in checking out more indie games, especially from Japan, you can take a look at the titles showcased during the Indie Live Expo Winter 2025, which was hosted a few days ago.

Full disclosure: Simulation Daily is proud to be among the media partners of Tokyo Indie Games Summit 2025.
