Aquaplus revealed the look and voice cast of more relevant characters who will appear in the upcoming remake of the classic visual novel To Heart, simply titled ToHeart.
First of all, we take a look at the hero’s clumsy classmate Rio Hinayama. In the remake, she will be voiced by Momoka Terasawa, a rookie who you may have heard as Yuzu Hanaoka in Blue Archive.
Next is Ayaka Kurusugawa, who attends a different school and returned to Japan after growing up in New York. She’s also Serika’s sister, albeit they’re complete opposites. She’s voiced by Azumi Sato (who incidentally also voices Serika)
This actually follows the original casting, as both sisters were voiced by the same actress, Junko Iwao.

If you’re unfamiliar with the original To Heart, it’s a legendary visual novel that debuted in 1997 as an eroge on PC and then debuted on PlayStation with an all-age version in 1999.
It sparked two anime series and even got a sequel, To Heart 2, in 2004. Of course, there’s also plenty of merchandise and similar products.
The remake ToHeart will release for PC and Nintendo Switch on June 26, 2025, and the best part is that it’s coming with localized English text. It’ll be the first time for the story to be officially localized, which is a rather big deal for visual novel lovers.
