Cat Secretary, a humorous narrative-driven adventure about a cat working an office job, now has a release date. Good Story Guild has announced that their game will launch on Steam on November 4.
In Cat Secretary, players must clock in at mega-corporation DOX’s offices doing daily tasks like organizing paperwork and fixing the router, all while playing as an adorable cat in a suit. DOX plans to replace all of the human workers with AI robots, so it’s up to players to help kitty’s coworkers and put a stop to the takeover, saving the soul of the company.
During the workday, players can participate in rhythm, strategy, and even dating mini-games around the office to earn upgrades that allow the corporate reception area to be creatively renovated. At night, players navigate the office and sneak past the security team to explore the upper floors of the DOX headquarters, completing quests to end the AI takeover. There are many hats to wear around the office, with a variety of skills to learn and promotions to earn.
The game will also feature a fully voiced cast of characters, including a mouse with an MBA named Benjamin Gouda. A few of the voices you’ll hear in the game include Samantha Béart (Baldur’s Gate 3, Star Wars: The Old Republic), Ciaran Cresswell (Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening, The Gallerist), Peter Wicks (Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, Path of Exile II), and Kyle Prue (How to Piss Off Men).

Cat Secretary will be available on Steam on November 4, but if you can’t wait that long, there is a demo available now; demo saves transfer over to the full game, so you won’t have to start over when the full game comes out. You can also learn more about the game on the developer’s website right here.
For more exciting upcoming games in which you play as a cat, keep an eye on Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest, which is releasing next month, and The Missing Tail, which was just announced yesterday.
