While it’s the weekend, the flight simulation industry never stops, with developers delivering news and reveals for Microsoft Flight Simulator and more.
As usual, here at Simulation Daily, we publish a daily roundup with the news you may have missed and did not receive an individual article, as there’s simply too much to cover and too little time.
Today we actually get news about a good mix of simulators, including Lockheed Martin Prepar3D, X-Plane, and even DCS World.
Without further ado, let’s move on to the news. Incidentally, if you’re interested in general gaming, we also have a roundup about that.
Learjet 75 Gets Development Update and New Screenshots
Today Brady from SimSolutions posted a development update including quite a few screenshots of the upcoming Learjet 75 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
According to the post on Discord, it appears that the aircraft will take some time. You can hear directly from the developer below.
I think you all deserve to know what is going on in my life at the moment. You may have been wondering, why is the Learjet taking so long to develop? The truth is, I have been working full time since December on the ramp, to afford logging some flight time, but as of recent, save for my instructor rating.
When I am not working, it’s either work on the Learjet, make time for the people I love, or find some time to relax and play a game. I want to thank each and every one of you who have stuck around and have supported our little organization for the past three years, and I cannot wait for you to add the Lear to your hangars.
It will take quite some time still, but when MSFS 2024 comes around, I am sure deeper systems, and sound sets will be underway. And so I now tell you about my future… I am finally financially able to start my instructor rating on Monday in a town about an hour and a half from home. It is an accelerated program which will last between 3 and 4 weeks. While I am away from home I will have my computer with me, but majority of my time will be put into getting this CFI rating done.
Now, I couldn’t have been able to do this without you all and I can’t express enough how much that means to me. It has been a blessing for me to get to this point in my life and you all contributed to getting me to where I am today.
Our lovely Learjet 75 will likely see next to no progress while I am gone for those couple weeks, and I intend on instructing when I am done. What this means for me and the project I am not sure right now. But what I want to say is that I am very pleased at the progress I have made with the airplane, and it is almost at a state where someone else will be able to take over and integrate better systems, and then sound.
After that is done, there really isn’t much to add to the project before beta. So, thank you all for your patience, and if I don’t get around to working on the thing while I am away, here are some screenshots.

DCS World Will Implement Dynamic Cargo in More Modules
Following the launch of the Boeing CH-47F Chinook, DCS World developer Eagle Dynamics is currently working on extending the Dynamic Cargo feature to more modules. These include DCS: UH-1H Huey, DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight, and DCS: Mi-24P Hind.
The developers are also creating additional cargo loads alongside dynamic cargo mass accounting, weight/balance, and operational restrictions.
Requests have been made for troop movements and animations in and around the helicopter. This is also in progress, but will require a major rework of infantry models and animations.
