B-25J Mitchell for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots

Microsoft Flight Simulator B-25J Mitchell

Aeroplane Heaven released new screenshots of the upcoming B-25J Mitchell bomber, which was announced a couple of days ago.

This time around, we get to see the “strafer” variant with eight 0.50 calibre machine guns in the nose.

Classic Cessna 172 Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Carenado released the classic Cessna 172 for the steam gauge lovers out there.

The aircraft is available for $14.99 only on on the official Microsoft Flight Simulator marketplace. You can see it in action in the trailer above.

Usually, Carenado releases an MSFS 2020 version of its newest aircraft a few weeks after the MSFS 2024 version, albeit this has not been confirmed yet.

Impulse 100 Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020

iniBuilds has announced the Impulse 100 “Pocket Rocket” for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020.

The aircraft is “coming soon,” and a store page is already available, promising the following features.

  • Highly detailed 3D model with 4K PBR textures and six custom liveries (each with unique interiors)
  • Full animations, including:
    • Landing gear flex
    • Tail wheel system
    • Opening canopy
    • Flight control sticks
  • MSFS rain and icing effects for immersive flying in all conditions
  • Realistic lighting package, including night lighting, exterior effects, and ambient interior glow
  • Exhaust heat & engine smoke effects for added realism
  • Accurate flight model tuned for high performance and responsive handling
  • Authentic engine simulation of the Allison 250-C20R, with:
    • Realistic ITT peak during startup
    • Hot start & failure conditions
    • Torque and over-temp exceedance behavior
  • Custom system simulations, including:
    • Cabin heating with temp initialization
    • Oxygen system
    • Airspeed indicator failures under specific conditions
  • Fully functional circuit breakers with interactive animations and logic
  • Comprehensive electrical & fuel systems, modeled for accuracy
  • WT G1000 NXi integration with system pages, annunciations, and engine monitoring
  • Detailed checklists for complete operational immersion
