Cessna Citation X Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020

FlightFX released its Cessna 750 Citation X business jet following a small delay. It’s available on the official marketplace for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 for $29.99.

It includes the following features.

Flight Modeling:

  • Bespoke HP2000 suite: PFD, MFD, VSD, FMZ FMS.
  • Full VNAV: Across CLIMB, CRUISE, and DESCENT phases.
  • Custom FADEC: With optional VNAV-coupled auto throttle (via VAMS).
  • Winglet / Non-winglet variants: Each modeled for high-fidelity simulation faithful to the physical variant.
  • Real-time EPB system: Accurate engine and aircraft performance throughout all ranges of altitudes, weights, and temperature and thrust settings within a margin of error.

Systems Simulation

  • Faithfully modeled pressurization, environmental, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, and ICE protection systems.
  • Full autopilot functionality with support for ILS, LPV, RNAV, LNAV/VNAV approaches.
  • IRS, CAS, engine sync, FADEC — all faithful to the physical aircraft.
  • Electronic Flight Bag (VAMS 2.0)
  • Load manager with SimBrief integration.
  • Navigraph Charts.
  • OpenStreetMap integration.
  • Settings for auto throttle, LCD/CRT screen types, and aircraft state options.
  • Active Noise Reduction simulation.
  • Ground services manager (covers, chocks, GPU, etc.)
  • Custom throttle to detents calibration tool.

Visual Modeling

  • Two model variants (winglet / non-winglet) with 9 detailed liveries: Livery 1 (White Base, Blue/Yellow Highlights), Livery 2 (White Base, Blue/Black Highlights), Livery 3 (White Base, Blue/Red/Gold Highlights), Livery 4 (Gray Base), Livery 5 (White Base), Livery 6 (Gray/White Base, Black/Gold Highlights), Livery 7 (Blue/White Base, Black/Orange Highlights), Livery 8 (White/Red Base, Gold Highlights), Livery 9 (Red/White Base, Black/Gold Highlights).
  • Accurate high-definition exterior and interior models with high-resolution 4K textures.
  • Detail maps throughout all parts of the aircraft for increased visual fidelity at all viewing scales.
  • 3D animated passengers.
  • Volumetric lighting, strobes.
  • Enhanced exterior and interior lighting rendered with real-time bounced and baked techniques.
  • Realistic clutter and interactive cabin details.

Audio

  • Custom sound set recorded onsite in California, USA.
  • Real APU, engine, mechanical, chimes, and cabin interaction sounds.

de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

FSReborn announced another aircraft in development, the de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk.

That being said, the developer also clarified that the previously announced Embraer Phenom 300E remains its priority and it’s being worked on full time.

Adelaide Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets Screenshots and Details

MK Studios shared more screenshots and details of its upcoming Adelaide Airport (YPAD) in Australia via the store listing on Orbx Direct.

The airport, which will release on July 25, will include the following features.

  • Highly accurate rendition of Adelaide Airport (YPAD)
  • Terminal interior modelled
  • Detailed buildings and infrastructure based on thousands of references
  • Up-to-date airport layout, including new taxiway
  • Custom terrain elevation and runway profiles
  • Custom taxiway signs
  • Custom taxiway lightning and models
  • Custom approach light models
  • Custom jetway models with walk-through option in FS2024
  • Custom aerial image
  • Animated vehicles
  • New Safedock FleX docking devices
  • AI compatible

REX Atmos Core Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Rex announced Atmos Core, which will bring the features of Rex Atmos to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

For now, we have a single screenshots comparison. The suite will let you edit weather, atmospherics, and environment (cloud shared appearance, cloud lighting, ozone levels, and Rayleigh scattering), with the following claimed features.

  • Fully Customizable
  • Safe & Non-Destructive
  • Real-Time Rendering
  • Save & Share with Others
  • Simple to Use Interface

A release date was not shared, for the moment.

Landmarks of Germany – Bayern Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020

FSDG Released another add-on from its “Landmarks of Germany” series, this time featuring Bayern. It’s available on the developer’s own store for €9,99.

The package includes over 700 objects and you can see what it looks like in the gallery above.
