Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including the return of a popular developer, finally bringing its De Havilland Canada / Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 to Microsoft Flight Simulator, alongside the release of a relevant airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020.

Dash 8 Q400 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Finally Revealed

Majestic Software finally revealed the first rendered images of its De Havilland Canada / Bombardier Dash 8 Q400.

The developer is well known for its rendition of the popular regional turboprop airliner for P3D, and its fans have been waiting for this reveal for a long, long time.

At the moment, nothing else has been shared besides the fact that “work is progressing” and in-simulator screenshots will be shared “when permissible.”

Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport Gets Release Window

Azrsim revealed on its Discord server the first screenshot in the simulator of Heydar Aliyev International Airport (UBBB) serving Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

We also learn that the airport is scheduled for release between the end of June and July.

Cessna 210 Turbo Centurion Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Carenado announced that it’ll release the Cessna 210 Turbo Centurion for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 “soon.” No further details have been shared.

İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020 Announced

MM Simulations released İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport (LTBJ) in Turkey. The airport is available on Orbx Direct and Simmarket starting at $23.19.

It includes the following features:

  • Fully handcrafted rendition of LTBJ – İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport
  • Accurate ground layout with custom taxiways, apron markings, and runway slope
  • Highly detailed terminal interior and exterior
  • Custom 3D jetways
  • Animated objects, PBR materials, and dynamic lighting
  • Realistic night environment
  • Custom surroundings and nearby terrain blending
  • Optimized for both MSFS 2020 and 2024
  • Built using up-to-date references, including current construction and aerial data
