Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020 Gets New Screenshots and Release Window

Orbx revealed new screenshots of the upcoming Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (LTFJ) by MXI Design serving Istanbul in Turkey.

We learn that the airport will be released in May 2025 for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2022. It’ll include the following features.

  • Accurate real-world replica modeling of all airport structures, including the newly expanded terminal and apron layout.
  • Fully animated hangar doors and modeled interiors for both terminal and hangars – not just shells, but complete with detailed interior spaces.
  • Handcrafted terrain mesh, aligned with real-world elevation data for smooth taxiing and authentic slopes.

  • Custom-made ground handling vehicles, replacing the generic MSFS assets for a more tailored experience.
  • High-resolution 15cm satellite imagery, color-corrected and blended into the surroundings

Fresno Yosemite International Airport V2 Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020

Fly2High released version 2 of its Fresno Yosemite International Airport (KFAT) in the United States. It’s available for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 on Orbx Direct and Simmarket.

If you have the previous version for MSFS 2020, you can get a free upgrade.

It comes with the following features:

  • Highly detailed models with high-resolution textures
  • Custom jetways
  • Up-to-date runway, taxiway, apron, and stands layout
  • Custom and accurate taxiway signage
  • Accurate terrain elevation and runway profiles
  • Realistic nighttime dynamic lighting
  • Terminal interior for the domestic and international terminal
  • Animated people & much more

The additions over v1 are as follows:

  • Completely new ground and most similar to real-time
  • Added new buildings in the surrounding areas
  • Improvements to the main terminal
  • Optimized textures to save storage

SEPECAT Jaguar for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Released

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Jaguar

Azurpoly released the native version for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 of its SEPECAT Jaguar attack plane. It’ available on Simmarket and Contrail for $35.99.

It includes the following over the MSFS 2020 version.

  • Functional weapons systems (PC only, see below).
  • Interactive walk-around actions.
  • Better graphic quality (textures, windshield).
  • Tire deformation.
  • Improved performance optimization.
  • More realistic hydraulics and fuel systems, based on modular architecture.

Do keep in mind that weapons are purely visual. They inflict no damage, they can’t lock, and aren’t visible in multiplayer.

If you want to upgrade from the MSFS 2020 version, it’ll cost you $4.99. If you purchase the MSFS 2024 version, the MSFS 2020 version is included.

Southeast Michigan Cities Pack Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Dfflyer Direct released the Southeast Michigan City Pack scenery add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, and it’s available on SimMarket for $6.93.

It includes the following:

  • 60+ handcrafted city buildings
  • Southfield, MI: 17 buildings including Citizens Tower, and the unmistakable golden Southfield Town Center
  • Troy, MI: 26 buildings including Somerset mall, PNC Center
  • Pontiac, MI: 22 buildings including McLaren Medical Center, Saginaw Street, and more
  • Mt. Clemens, MI: 4 buildings along the Clinton River including the Macomb County Court building
  • High quality PBR textures
  • Performance optimized for maximum details and frame rates
