Airvan for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020 Gets Development Update
SimWorks Studios provided a development update about its GippsAero GA8 Airvan, mentioning that the aircraft is almost complete and waiting for its sounds pack.
While the developers wait, they’re fine-tuning it and squashing bugs, on top of working on their proprietary wear and tear and failure system, with the Airvan used as the testbed (which isn’t finished just yet).
Here’s what has been done:
- Re-tuned the propeller to get better hp/thrust/RPM relationships
- Improved inaccurate instrument readouts
- Redone all the instrumentation code from scratch, enabling us to add new features easily.
- Added vibrations to the panel
- Minor texture adjustments
- Got it transferred into a native FS2024 package
