Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including aircraft and scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020.

Simulation Daily publishes a roundup every day for all the news across the flight simulation field, helping you keep up to date with the ins and outs of the industry.

Before we move on with the news, below you can find a story that received its own individual coverage.

Without further ado, I leave you with the news.

McDonnell Douglas MD-80 Maddog “20th Anniversary Edition” for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and MSFS 2024 Released

Leonardo released its “Fly the Maddog – 20th Anniversary Edition” including the following models.

More liveries are available via the official installer.

It’s available on Simmarket for $92.92. Those who have the original release for MSFS 2020 can upgrade for $32,14. That being said, if you purchased it after December 1, 2025, the upgrade will be free.

Main features:

Customizable avionics:

Dual, fully independent Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) tablets (CM1/CM2).

Navigraph Charts and SimBrief full support and integration.

GSX fully integrated and operated directly from the in-cockpit Electronic Flight Bag (EFB).

IVAO/VATSIM ACARS / CPDLC integration via Hoppie.

SayIntentions.AI ACARS / CPDLC integration.

BeyondATC ACARS / CPDLC integration.

It’s worth mentioning that the aircraft is not natively created for MSFS 2024, but the developer claims it has been optimized for the new simulator while retaining compatibility with MSFS 2020.

Casa C-212-200 Aviocar for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 Gets New Screenshots

Project Max Lead Developer Mohamad Haykal revealed on the FSDeveloper forums more screenshots of the screenshots and the cabin of the Casa C-212-200 Aviocar for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.

We learn that the last 15% of development remains to be done and the aircraft could release by New Year or the first week of January.

It’ll include plenty of customization options, including external fin options, interior configs, cockpit configs, ramp wheel, ramp covers, antennas, and many more. The aircraft’s electronics, hydraulics, fuel, and control systems have also been reproduced to match real-world data, following the aircraft’s Manuals and feedback from real pilots.

It works well in MSFS 2024 but lacks some native features like the walkaround mode.

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport Released for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020

Taimodels released Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (KBZN) for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020. It’s available on iniBuilds for $18.61.

It includes the following features.

We already know that the airport will also be released for X-Plane 12.
